Yesterday after work I made my way to the Box, while the girls were at dance and swimming. Luckily for me Martin showed up and was willing to workout with me. So after a short warm up we got started on WoD 4.

Everyday Warrior WoD 3
Last weekend I spent most of my time at the pool. Not for myself, but as a race official Saturday and starter on Sunday. Lily was in the pool. So much fun watching kids race. From one meet to the next they can cut seconds from their times, not tenths like older kids and grown-ups. After two long days at the pool, I made my way to the box to test Everyday Warrior WoD 3.

24 Swim –> 1,040,000m in a 50m pool
Saturday the 31st of October I particpated in Simma24, a 24 hour swim to help raise money for Doctors Without Borders. I was not alone in this swim. There were 57 starting the day, including 3 relay times. Then we even had some people who could manage the 1600 m/hour concept, but did what they could for example 800 m/hour for 24 hours. All in all there 85 swimmers that contributed to 650 miles (1600m) –> An Amazing 1,040,000 m!!!

Ironman 2015 – The Video
Enjoy my Ironman Kalmar video.
I personally thought that last years video from Finisher Pix was better, not sure if it was the location of the videos, or maybe there was music in last years video. I was happy to see that I was running at all the locations of the cameras 😉
I even sent a little comment to Kalmar to inform the volunteers about the locations of the cameras since one guy seems to be standing in front of the camera at T2.
5 days until my last triathlon of 2015
Funny how it is the last, but only the second race of the year for me. For the third year in a row Lily will be racing in Karlshamn. It will be my third time in four years, since I missed the race two years ago with a broken collar bone.

Ironman 2015
This will be one of the last post about Ironman for a while.
It only seems right to start with Friday morning. I woke up at 6:45, threw on a shirt, grabbed my swim bag and walked over to the swim start for a test swim of the course. It was kind of windy, but nothing that effected me. However, I decide that on Saturday my only goal was to swim loose and relaxed under 60 minutes. The way I was feeling and the water conditions I knew it would take a huge effort for me to swim down around 55min like last year.

T-minus 33 hours…
It’s been a long day. Up just after 7:00, breakfast with the girls, and then packed the car for Kalmar.
Kalmar Ironman Race Plan 2015
Not sure it’s so much of a race plan, but more like a survival plan.
Last year going inte Kalmar I had done an half marathon, 300km bike race, 140km bike race and two 70.3 (half ironman) triathlons. I swam nearly 50km, biked nearly 1000km and ran around 100km a MONTH!

The Solid Open – Summary
So yet another on-line qualifier for a Crossfit competition is over. This was my third competition and I can really see some improvements from when I started in November. For the second time I managed to perform all the WoDs Rx, something I could not do in the Reebok Open. Then it was the muscle ups that stopped me.
But I have noticed a trend with me and these on-line WoDs. I usually start off slow and get better week to week.

Solid Open – Q3 (Rx)
Last week I did the Solid Open 15.3 scaled. I scaled it for two reasons. The first was to get a time since I was not sure how this week would play out being on vacation and all, but also because Rx was 55kg and my current max for both Snatch and Overhead squats is 65kg.
